The upcoming Audi A3 Cabriolet has been spotted under going testing in Germany. The car had virtually no camouflage.
We can expect that Audi is going to officially unveil it at either the Tokyo Auto Show or the LA Auto Show this fall.

Not the best pics but it somehow fails to impress. Audi is slipping in design lately in my view. They could be getting better but aren't and an aluminum top would be better than fabric.

Scoop of the handywork of a handyman. This looks like a hobyist project.
Not a DaSilva 'masterpiece'

Looks surprisingly reminiscent of the Audi 80/90 styling of the 1990s.
Perhaps it's just the moire in the picture.

on behalf of my fellow Americans who have no interest in war... bite me. Isn't this a space for commenting on a car and not anti-american, self ingratitiating blather?
I like this A3 better than I like the bland design of my 1999 A4. It looks more like a lifestyle design rather than an auto class (compact) design. The proof with any convertible is in noise and weatherproofing. I'll reserve final judgement for some first hand knowledge.
I'm not a fan of most American car designs but great strides have been made in going retro such as the new Mustang, Thunderbird and other true classic designs. I'd rather not see any more PT Cruisers come from any auto manufacturer.

I love it when righteous isolationists from filthy little european countrys with flacid governments think they have the moral upper hand on Americans just because their country has never had the balls to stand up for another group of people. Not everything we've done has been good, but if I remember correctly...if it were't for our war mongering you'd be a filthy nazi right now instead of a filthy spainiard. Can't you appreciate that?
PS: Ask a South Korean if they'd rather we had stayed out of it and let North Korea take them over.

What we need is a good "independence Day" scenerio to happen so every nation can unite under a common goal to save mankind from invading aliens. Until that day happens, let's all go to our nearest Audi dealer and test drive some fine cars. By the way, Spain did pull it's troops out of the middle east due to bowing to terrorists demands. How does it feel to have a week government that can't stand up for it's own people and their freedoms?

I know it wouldn't take much but, are Audi's more reliable than BMW's?

I like the Pegaso, a pre-Franco car brand.
Sorry, just cars.

I actually really like the lines on this car, it's very muscular and reminds me of several older Audi's that I liked.
Diesel keep in mind that the A3 is the baby Audi, it starts at 25K, it makes sense for them to use a cloth top simply because that allows them to keep the price several thousand cheaper than they could with an aluminum top.
