zippy:

If I were 12 years old, or a millionaire, I would be really excited about this.

Fastest dump truck? What the hell are you talking about?

And as for zippy, I am in my mid twenties, have 6 digit net worth, and I am excited. This car does TONS for the auto industry. One, it looks beautiful and stays a separate path from everyone else. While the rest of the industry is trying (it seems) to look like Mercedes, or the Honda Accord, or something like that, Aston Martin has made a absolutely stunning car.

In todays auto world there are some things we thought we had to live with. If we wanted a fast sports car, we had to have a cramped, dingy cockpit. We were limited to something that looked like a Countach (face it, Ferrari, Lamborghini, they do not have a lot of difference in the design). Oh there was Porsche, but thats not really exclusive and it more or less looked like something a lawyer would drive (as that seems like the usual audience). In other words, it was a place to find compromise.

But Aston Martin is changing the game. I can see others trying to mimic them soon. The car looks absolutely gorgeous: its like with the DB9 Volante, there are no bad angles on this car. Also, its fast: maybe not the greatest short strip speed, but it takes turns like a exotic and can hit incredible top speeds. That V12 is something you can bank on for smoothness if the old V12 was any clue. Also, that cockpit is massive by the standards we are used to. And its absolutely plush.

And the car is absolute lady killer. I mean common, who here could not get laid if he pulled up to the club in this car? It practically could do the work for you, and your options are so open! With its looks, you could easily get the artsy chick. With its price tag, the gold diggers will flock to you (make sure you go to a hotel and use a fake ID though). With its speed and sound, it easily gains the sporty women. But its still conservative enough to get the kind of woman you'd keep. Can you do all four of those women with a Ferrari or Porsche? I doubt it.

Aston Martin just raised the game. This is a car any man or woman can love. It looks good, its fast, it has some actual functionality (big cockpit and decent trunk). I cannot afford it, but I'll be jealous of just about anyone who buys one. And you can bet that if I ever could afford one, I would not think about all the zeros on the check when I handed it over.

zippy:

You bring up some decent points, but I just can't get excited about it. I will likely never be able to afford it, so its a moot point.
Its best quality is that it probably pushes the automotive industry as a whole, but cars over 30k just don't interest me much.

Jamison:

It is a beautiful car, no doubt. Exotic as they come just looking at the vehicle specifications... V12 and what not. Practical it may not be, or petrol efficient it is not... but you do not worry about those things if you are even contemplating about puchasing this. Personaly, if I had the cash, I would still need to drive it and drive it hard to see its limits. Drivability is important and thats where other exotics have the advantage by reputation.

However if you have to drive a car like this and park it outside a club just to attract women... then you have other problems. I mean, these days the people who party hard enough do'nt even drive to clubs :-p

Stve:

I honestly thought that they couldn't make a better looking car than the DB9...
But Aston Martin has proved me wrong, that car is breathtaking!

jake:

For such a nice looking and exciting car, that was a boring video. Fire marketing department, hire some decent folks.

rene:

no currency stated here...
the car weights tons. Thats a fact. It will sink fast.

Buy the car for the women, if desperate.
But with money no constraint, would buy 4 proper cars instead LOL
