According to AutoTelegraaf the upcoming Dodge Challenger is only going to be built in limited numbers, which means that Europeans are out of luck. The car will only be sold in the US when it debuts next year.
Although Dodge is not going to officially import the car into Europe, interested buyers in Europe may be able to buy the car firm private importers.
The production version of the Dodge Challenger will debut on Februrary 15th, 2008 and sales will commence sometime after that.

I actually would not mind if it had a 4 litre turbo diesel. Same performance but without the guzzling. Then it would actually be interesting.

Dodge isn't capable of making non gas guzzling engines. However, this new challenger is NICEEE. Can i hear a "return of the muscle carss??"

THIS car is beautiful.
It is a bold move for Dodge, and I will support it.
I will buy it. I think...
I think the Europeans would love it too, Some, maybe just for spite. Remember that Top Gear guy who owns a huge Barracuda ( I think) who barely fits his garage? LOL

There is appeal in the US muscle car design in European minds but the lack of engine efficiency is a turn off. And I imagine the suspension will also be unballanced or something.
But the Corvette shows that US makers can make great handling cars also so it could be that this will handle well also.
Or put in an electric engine. Than it would really pull.

I thought it was suppose to have a cylinder shutoff engine like the new camaro will have. That save some gas.

Screw those sarcastic, stuck up, compact diesel driving snobs; they don't deserve a car like this :D
Let them drive those Fiat 500s (even though I'm getting one if it gets to states:D)

(Trust me guys, you wouldn't of liked it any way) Of cours there going to trash talk and down grade every thing we make.
