It is very obvious that there will be a Transformers 2 movie. The film has brought in over $222,000,000 in less than two weeks and add another $100,000,000 for the international box office. Before the sequel is released a prequel is planned for the Transformers DVD.
Mark Ryan, the guy who did the voiceover for Bumblebee recently told an interviewer, "I recently recorded more material for the DVD release of the film. It has to do with the prequel that will set up the second film."
We can expect this to mean that the DVD will contain some never before seen footage that will set up the storyline for the sequel.
Autoblog speculates that the plot of the sequel could revolve around Bumblebee. In the film we don't see how he arrives on earth, since he arrives before the rest of his Autobot friends. The sequel could provide more insight into his arrival and why he did not have a voice until the end of the movie. (Sorry if I spoiled any part of the plot for those who haven't seen it yet).

Yep...and they got Frenzy confused with Soundwave. Frenzy should have been a DVD (since he was a casette in the show)...haha. The movie still kicked ass. Michael Bay needs to watch the cartoons and read the comic books for the sequel;)

BumbleBee is way cooler as a camaro. I don't see why Jazz had to die. In the Cartoon they could usually fix them pretty much no matter what happened.

Dan,
They still can bring Jazz back. Optimus has the last piece of the allspark. If you follow the Transformers universe, the allspark would allow them to basically reincarnate Jazz if they so choose to do that in the sequel(s) to come.

I love when bumblebee slamed the VW in the movie, and how could we have seen the under the hood scene with a VW.
I think the camaro was a good move for the movie, darn I am going to have to buy a bluray player for this movie.

Bumblebee HAD to be a Camaro , If he was a VW bug then it would have totally copied "Herbie: The Lovebug" How lame would it have been to have all the souped up Hummers and GMC's beside a VW,Camaro's are bad ass. I'm not so excited for the sequel though...it'll totally kill the whole point.

Ok, let's clear up a few points for some of you who apparently dont know what you're talking about.
*Firstly, Do you really think that sam would've got the girl if he drove a VW?
*GMC were approached by the film makers, not the other way around!
*They did not get Soundwave and Frenzy confused, they made Frenzy first appear as a cd player as a 'tribute' to the G1 transformers character Soundwave, as mentioned by the film makers, they deliberately made large robots become large items (think about it, how would a 12 tonne robot become a 2 kilo cd player). And no, they're not doing soundwave in the sequal for this reason.
