The Honda Fit/ Jazz subcompact has been a hit for Honda. The automaker just announced that the Honda has sold 2 million units of the current model, which came out in 2001. Honda CEO Takeo Fukui has confirmed that the next generation Fit/Jazz will be unveiled this fall. Sales of the new car will start in Japan this fall and in the U.S. soon after.
The Fit has only been in the U.S. for about a year and a half, but it is already an immediate success here as well. Honda can't make enough of the car.
The new Fit will be marginally bigger than the current version, which will result in more interior room. The same engines are expected to carryover as well, although a hybrid version could eventually be released.

Proof positive that Honda knows and respects the US market. My family has had 5 Hondas over a perior of 15 years. The cars have had superior reliability, handling and resale value. The Fit came to the US market at the right time and the updated model will continue to sell well.

Looks like a Prius in the front. Guess they need more aerodynamic designs. Could just use more of those wheel skirts.

You Americans only think these Honda Fits are good because there is no competition in the class in your country.
Really they handel like crap, have a higher centre of gravity then other small cars and are gutless. Not to mention how basic they are. But thats the sort of cars you get in the states and thats why they are cheap. That sort of gives it a plus but i'll take a suzuki swift, renault clio, volkswagen polo and a rediclous long list of cars over a fit in Australia.

Ignatius, VW and Suzuki does do business in the US, and their products are inferior to Honda products in every single segment. Why not apply for the VW CEO job and tell them what to do, when you get there?
