More 2009 BMW X6 Spy Photos...This is the Best View Yet!

Spy photos of the upcoming BMW x6 SUV/ Coupe crossover have been circulating the internet for weeks. Unfortunately those photos did not reveal much about the overall styling of the SUV. Well now Brenda Priddy & Co finally managed to catch the X6 with very little camouflage, which gives us a real glimpse of the rear hatch.

The sloping rear end takes the styling themes of the Mercedes CLS, but applied to an SUV. Unfortunately the rear is going to not leave much room for cargo and the SUV will only fit 4 people (form over function). I guess if you require more room in your SUV, the X5 is still there.

The BMW X6 will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, with a release date sometime in mid-2008.

Either the camouflage is working and it is making it look like taller that it really is (looks tall and short), or the picture were scaled wrongly or the car is simply ugly. Like a tall Subaru Tribecca or something. I don't get it.

Now it looks uglier than the Lexus RX 400h which at first had a certain family resemblance. The Lexus looks much easier in the eyes now.

Umm, They are still calling a 4 door station wagon a coupe?

Gary:

So BMW made an Infiniti FX45 look-a-like, big deal.... Like everyone else said as well, this isn't a coupe!

I'm sorry, but the FX 35/FX 45 are WAY much better than this crap, style wise. The handling is good too, .98 g beats the Porsche Cayeenne Turbo S, the BMW X5 4.4 is way off. I doubt this Tribecca on steroids will do better handling wise then the Infiniti FX series.
