This is what I have been waiting for, though it's so hard to tell if there is a rear diff I can see what might be a tiny glimpse of one in one of the shots, but it could also be part of the muffler.

Anyways if it lives up to rumored specs it will make around 230 hp, be AWD and cost around 24~26K, meaning it will be targeted directly at the WRX.

I am mostly interested in 2 factors, If the car is going to be AWD, and if the car is going to offer Mitsubishi's Twin Clutch SST, If I didn't live where the traffic is so bad I would prefer a manual, but constant stop and go on the highway, with speeds rarely breaking 10 mph if your out between 6~10 am, 11~1 or 3~7 pm, A) sort of sucks, and B) makes me less inclined to want a fully manual, gear box. The fact that the SST will likely shave .1~.2 seconds off the 0~60 compared to a true manual is just a bonus.

maybe they finally got the Ralliart a car worthy of its badge not like the previous Lancers which were so ugly I was laughing out loud at people who bought one.

Wish it had the style of the Concept X, has been watered-down considerably.
By Fall, you should be able to get one for $23k, about the same as a loaded Mazda 3.
