odyssey.face.lift.4.kgp.430crop.jpg
Honda is giving its popular minivan a midlife facelift. The new 2008 Odyssey will feature a new grille that is similar to the one on the new 2008 Accord. The taillights also will receive a slight update.

There is no word on if there are any engine modifications to keep it competitive with the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler minivans.

competitive with the Chrysler minivan?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Gimme a break, the chrysler vans haven't been competitive for probably 7 years. The stow and go seats are absolute instruments of torture to have to sit in and as far as engine mods to keep up????/ Gosh darn, thats funny stuff.

Touche, zippy

The Odyssey has been the king of mini-vans from the moment it received a V-6 engine. I mean come on, the Touring model looks like an Acura inside. Fit-n-finish, quality of materials, HANDLING dynamics and a beefy 3.5L V6.

The last time I checked the domestic mini-vans were still using OHV engines and 4-spd autos- the perfect match for their rental car interiors and full-size truck handling.

Andrew:

Honda should make a premium brand version of this van.

Can Acura Touring Van with all the bells and whistles.

Obviously DaMinority:

Wow, that says Honda, I bet it gets 50 MPG, doesn't it!

I'm trying to figure out when exactly it became necessary for a Minivan (anybody's) to have over 200 HP and weigh 4,000 lbs.
