The new Ford Edge is one of Ford's most popular new vehicles. The new crossover is now the third best selling mid-size crossover behind the Nissan Murano and the Toyota Highlander. Because of this Ford has increased its sales forecast for the Edge from 100,000 to 120,000.
Last month, the Edge set a record with 12,701 vehicles sold, which is the highest month since the Edge was launched late last year.
The Lincoln MKX, which is the luxury version of the Ford Edge is also selling well.

My Dad works in the plant where they build the edge.
According to him its a very nice vehicle, and a fully decked out edge is nicer than a decked out mkx :P
He also says they are building more than they are selling, even though they have great sales.
This is because they are waiting on a new vehicle to be produced, and until then they will be overproducing edges.

People In America are getting smarter! I will not own under a circumstances a Foreign Car especially Toyota! The Ford Edge is a beautiful crossover! We the people in our country buying foreign cars!
