New Chrysler Owners may Also be Interested in Land Rover and Jaguar

Earlier this week, Ford confirmed that the automaker has hired Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to sell the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. Now according to recent reports, Cerberus, the firm that just bought Chrysler is also looking at the possibility of buying Jaguar and Land Rover.

It could be interesting if Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Jaguar and Land Rover were all under the same umbrella. All five of the brands are not performing at their highest potential, so Cerberus could have its work cut out.

It is not known if Ford will sell the Jaguar and Land Rover as a packaged deal, although according to Automotive News, the automaker is favoring that over selling them individually.

According to Merrill Lynch, Ford could raise as much as $9 billion by selling its remaining luxury brands.

I hope whoever purchases Jag changes out the Taurusey looking headlights on the XK, as they absolutely ruin an otherwise attractive car.

And seal the bottom front intake and make the main one larger while you're at it.

Oh, you mean they are interested in the Company... Well... They did buy Chrysler, maybe they know something we don't.
