Most of us know that the housing market and overall economy in Detroit has pretty much bottomed out because of all the automaker job cuts. Well apparently the housing market has gotten really bad that now sellers are throwing in a free car with the purchase of a house.
Jalopnik came across this add across the street from the new Main Street Lofts.
The sign reads:
FREE Land Rover 2 Year Lease
or
FREE Mortgage Payments for 1 Year With Purchase of Loft.
This add has shown up at the same time that rumors are circulating thatFord may also be giving away the whole Land Rover brand.

I heard about this over a month ago... which probably means it's over 2 months old. Too bad they didn't offer up a good brand, I may have jumped on that deal. Royal Oak is a great town.
