Which New Vehicles Have the Best Technology?

PC Magazine has listed what they feel are the vehicles with the best technology. For the second year the BMW X5 was listed as their top vehicle and took home the magazine's "Digital Drive Car of the Year" award. The X5 was picked because of its adaptive drive, spilt-screen navigation, real-time traffic reports and front and rear sonar.

The technological features on the vehicles in this year's list had massaging seats, navigation systems, seven-speed transmissions, adaptive cruise control, and Bluetooth technology (obviously not every car had each of these features).

Here are the other vehicles they picked (Alphabetical Order):

Acura MDX

Cadillac STS

Infiniti M35/M45

Lexus LS460

Lincoln MKZ

Mercedes-Benz S550

Mercedes-Benz E320 Bluetec

Toyota Prius Hybrid

Volkswagen GTI

Noya:

Not to bash on the domestics, but what do they have the technologically advanced?

bc:

the lexus LS clearly has the best technology...

Mark:

How about less tech in cars? It makes them a lot harder and way more expensive to service, not to mention destracted drivers trying to change the station on his radio that takes 5 menu screens to get to it. You can do a compete engine swap in less than an afternoon on a '70 Chevelle with just a jack and a few wrenches in your back yard. Just try that with any Toyota made in the last 5 years. I personally would love to see computers controls removed from cars and go back to the basics. Body on Frame, Rear Wheel Drive, and Carburated V8's

SN:

Most people don't give a rats ass about doing an engine swap?
