Spy photographers have caught a Lamborghini Murcielago with carbon fiber body panels and a super large wing on the back, during testing. The supercar has been rumored to be a Superleggera version of the Murcielago.
Inside sources have now confirmed that Lamborghini is working on a Superleggera version of the car that will be like the Superleggera version of the Gallardo. The new version should come with carbon fiber and plastic panels, a power boost and a stripped out interior.
The car is rumored to be unveiled in March of 2008.

I think Lamborghinis should always have a wing. The groundbreaking Countach and the beautifull Diablo always did. It gives them more of that "racecar" look.

not to take away from the longheld and highly deserved reputation of Lambroghini, but honestly, they have the ugliest sports cars i've ever seen. of course, looks don't win a race.

The 08 and 09 Lambroghinis are cool but as for all the others I have to agree with you ad, they suck!

From what I recall, Lamborghini was born when Ferrari refused to build cars with a man who was, at the time, building tractors. I may be slightly off.
Lamborghini's early models did not have wings, as they were not yet a prominent design in the automotive world.
Look at the GT350, GT400, Miura and the very first Countach-LP400, both did NOT have wings.
The Countach was modified and sold in later years with a rear wing. Also, the Diablo was released with a wing.
Get the facts straight.
In terms of opinion, I like the wingless Countach the best out of all Lamborghinis - its design seems to combine muscular curves with sharp lines (similar to their latest "Bat" and "Gallant" designs). One day all cars will achieve such great aerodynamics so that they need no wing.

Appeal to Lamborghini (if anyone has an email address for them please let me know):
Build the Embolado! See http://sefsdesign.deviantart.com/art/Lamborghini-Embolado-Hi-res-70388158
That blows away any of the current designs (which are great -- but getting dated).
And by the way, please, please, please do not actually make the Miura concept car. I understand it is trying to be retro. It's not. It's ugly. If you make it, I'll have to buy a Ferrari instead. Please don't make me do that.
