In the past month GM has announced that their sales were down due to the slowing housing market and increasing gas prices. The automaker also stated that the sales of their new full-size pickups are not doing as well as they had hoped. Now comes word that the automaker is offering incentives to move the large trucks, since sales dropped 7% last month.
Starting Friday and running through July 9th, GM is offering reduced interest rates on the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra or up to $1,500 cash back. Ford and Toyota are also offering incentives on their pickups.

Granted, what I wrote is degrading, but the truth is I am right.
Well, maybe not about the ignorant and inbred thing, but I just don't know what to think of the majority of people who buy these and then commutes to the office all by themselves. Its frankly quite stupid.
But hey, do what you like, I am not paying for sub-15 mpg so it doesn't really bother me.
GM does suck though. ;)

I am so glad you showed your ass like you did, I hope the exhaust coming out of my jacked up half ton, with big 38 inch tires makes you choke.
You would probly see sales go up if the American truck companies would step up to the plate like other truck companies have. Fact is people who really need to buy trucks have to buy from companies like Toyota or Nissan because they can get the trucks they need. Honnestly how does a construction worker fit enough supplies for a days work along with his (full size) 4 man crew in a 5 and a half foot bed? If you don't understand what I am saying, GM only offers a 5.5 foot bed with their 4 door trucks in the half ton truck. To get a bigger bed you have to get a stretch cab or a 3/4 ton, have you seen a full grown 6 foot man in the back seat of a stretch cab pick-up? It ain't pretty, and most people can't afford a 3/4 ton. Ford is not much better with a 6.5 foot bed, we just added a whopping 12 inches! Usually you have to special order those trucks also. The American vehicle companies need to step up, then and only then you might see people buying more of them. Yes the gas mileage does suck, but thanks to the government passing a new bill, we won't have to deal with that much longer. But in the mean time people still have to work to build houses, like me, so zippy can sit in his/her new house or office on his/her ass and insult people! But what do I know I am just a "imbred ignorant costomer."
