The Car Connection has posted several images of the new 2009 Ford F-150 during testing outside of Detroit. Spy photographers managed to capture photos of the different configurations of the popular truck.
As you can tell from the photos, the new version looks to be more of an evolutionary redesign from the current version. The new front end is going to adopt the familiar 3-bar design similar to the grille on the Expedition.
The interior is very similar to the current version, with the exception of a few detail changes.
It is rumored that the new truck will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next January.

If you want to talk about ugly the Honda Ridgeline has that crown taken. Honda just does not make pretty cars. Most japanese auto makers don't
But you can't really tell the looks by these photos. Guess we will have to wait to see the new beast of fury.

What is it with manufactureres these days delaying the good powertrains? First it was GM who didnt have the 6 speed available for mass consumption, now Ford apparently wont have the big V8 offering nor the anticipated diesel. Hopefully the carryover V8 nor the new 6.2 will spit out Ford catalytic converter and spark plugs like existing/past V8 offerings.
