Hummer's general manager, Martin Walsh has confirmed that the smaller than an H3, H4 will be released in 2010. "Our growth will be downwards in terms of size." There could also be a smaller model than the H4, if there is demand for it.
The new 2010 Hummer H4 will be smaller than the current H3 and will be designed to go against other compact competitors, such as the Jeep Wrangler. The new SUV will be built on an upcoming compact GM platform when it is released. Although the SUV will be smaller than their current offerings, it will still offer "legitimate off-road capability."
A concept version of the SUV may be at the Detroit Auto Show next year.

If they would only produce something like the H3T. I've been in contact with the GM Communication centre in Ontario, Canada and they advised me the only version of this vehicle will be a extended cab truck. I for one would like to see a truck available for sale just as pictured above (less the oversize tires, becuase you know those wont come factory).
GM has a good thing here, I would love to get behind the wheel of a beast like this! It reminds me of one of the oversiezed INTERNATIONAL CXT,MXT Trucks.

The HX or H4 has a removable roof as well as pretty much everything else so it will essentially be a truck as well as an suv. You can remove and rearrange to suit your needs.

I was hoping that if Hummer came out with a pickup, they would make it a full-size. Maybe this is GM's messiah. Then again, maybe it will fail like most other GM products. Then again, GM is better than Ford and Chrysler.
