BMW CS Concept Unveiled...Is this a Glimpse of the New BMW 8-Series?

BMW has unveiled the new CS Concept, which is designed as a 4-door coupe to go head to head with Mercedes, Porsche and Maserati. The car is going to be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. There have been numerous rumors about this "4-door" coupe and this concept provides even more fuel to the rumors.

The concept rides on the next generation 7-Series platform, but is actually longer and wider than the current 7-Series. Even though the concept is wider than the 7-Series, it is also much lower.

According to BMW the Concept also gives hints to the future designs of other BMWs. This concept is also said to be a thinly disguised version of what the future "4-door" coupe will look like.

Very sexy profile.

Similar to the 4-door Jag concept and the new Aston sedan.

The "Bangle Butt" 7-series has to be one of the best buys for a pre-owned luxury car, as their early depreciation is terrible.

LB`:

This BMW is one of the best from the production line of BWM ever. I have no words to express my feelings. IT'S GREAT! I will wait when I can buy it in 2009. Now have a cls 4 doors coupe, but BWM rocks!

Sure, I'm biased, but what a great looking car! We've seen a preview at a few Australian Motor Shows. Hope we get to see something similarly styled actually make it into the BMW range.

Lowe:

BMW needs to hurry up and get this into production because not too many people are impressed by the 2009 7 Series.
