2009 Volkswagen Tiguan will be Launched in 8 Months

VW has created a website that features animations, driving scenes and exclusive download features for their new SUV the Tiguan. At www.volkswagen.de/tiguan, users can see the development of the Tiguan from show car to production car. The website will continue to be updated with new information and features as actual reveal date approaches. In June, three months before the SUV is released a the Frankfurt Motor Show, the production model will be released to users of this site.

At that time users will be able to configure the SUV like they would like and they can take it on a virtual test drive, similar to the GTI minisite that was created before that car was released.

Apparently this elaborate website can be accessed in 50 countries, in their local language. The Tiguan Base can be reached via the country's Volkswagen website. (I have yet to find it on vw.com). Users who register for the site will be entered for a chance to attend the world premiere of the Tiguan at the Frankfurt Motor Show.La_auto_show_008 La_auto_show_007

Kelcie :

Ok, I have noticed that you have posted many, many of your opinions about many, many cars, and I'm not sure of weather or not you are an expert on all cars, or if you have recieved a degree in "expert opinions on foriegn cars". I would kindly like to inform you that although you might think you are accurate on all of your information, you are very biased and partial. So you may want to review your opinion in relation to the acctual facts before you go splurging you thoughts on how bad some cars are because quite frankly, volkswagens are not overpriced, and the amentities on all base models are continuously enjoyed by most american buyers, for the simple fact that american made cars do not come automaticly with those features.
Also, if you would like to be more accurate on your news report, Volkswagen of America does not release prices of forthcoming vehicles, so how could you possibly know that the Tiguan would start at 22,490?
However I will compliment you on the fact that you did realize that Volkswagen is Europes largest Auto maker and it is Americas 4th largest producer of passenger cars. So I guess I could thank you for that. Thanks.
PS im only telling you this for two reasons, I LOVE VOLKSWAGENS and I am a journalist, and in the journalism world and in reporting, you have to be accurate in what you say and very impartial. So I hope you don't find this rude, Thank you.
