Jaguar has been in financial trouble for years. The new XF that will come out sometime in early 2008 is the brand's last hope. The car is going to replace the slow selling S-Type in the lineup. Jaguar released a concept version of its S-Type replacement in Detroit, the C-XF.
The production version will be built on a modified S-Type platform, which means that the new car will use some of the old suspension parts, engine and the same six-speed transmission.
Let's hope this will finally save the brand from extinction!

I can tell you what would save Jaguar but I have doubt s that you will believe and understand me.
What the buyer wants is the Jaguar that chief inspector Morse drives.
Comfort and style, and an engine that is powerful enough for a good reputation.
The way to achieve this is, and now comes the mind-stretching part, is to license Citroen’s suspensionsystem. Trust me, it's the greatest invention ever.

I hope jaguar sells more cars. I wish ford had not bought them because to me an ellegant car like that belongs on its own. I dont like the the new style of jag I think it looks crapy and plastic unlike its cars in the past but I hope consumers disagree with me and like the car.
