Cadillac has taken the wraps off the refreshed 2008 Cadillac STS. The car has received improvements to the interior, a revised front grille and a new standard 298 horsepower V6. The car is going to be unveiled next month at the New York Auto show.
At first glance the changes are not readily apparent. The new grille and side vents bring the design of the STS in line with the design of the new Cadillac Escalade and the new Cadillac CTS. The new standard 3.6L V6 engine features direct-injection technology and is mated to a six-speed auto. All-wheel-drive remains an option. A new lane change warning system is also available. As for the interior, the main changes are a new steering wheel and the center stack of the instrument panel has been revised.
The CTS looks better than this and those side vents do not flow, although the new grille is better than the previous version.

Well forgive a swede for making suggestions for the american national pride, the Cadillac, but since it’s also made in Sweden these day let me say: I think Cadillac should licence the gashydraulic suspension system from Citroen. It gives the top Citroen model, the C6, a ride smoother than silke.
You even imagine the old joke from SNL where a rabbi circumcises a boy in the backseat of a car, coming true! ;-)
An over-the-top luxury car that Cadillac is supposed to be needs this I think, at least to impress the Europeans.

It looks great. It is still a Cadillac which - to me -means luxury. :)
